For travel advisors
An itinerary that still opens without signal abroad
Roaming runs out, the hill town has one bar of signal, the train goes into a tunnel. That's usually when your client needs the hotel address.
Open once, and it's on the phone
The first time your client opens their trip link, the phone keeps a copy of the trip. After that it opens without a connection, from the home screen or the browser, and photos they've already seen are kept too.
And it stays current when they're back online
Whenever there's a connection, the trip checks for a newer version first. So there's no choice between "works offline" and "up to date": they get the latest version when they can and the saved copy when they can't.
What needs a connection
Live train platforms and delays, notifications, messages to you and uploading journal photos all need signal. Everything in the itinerary itself doesn't.
A tip for your clients
Ask them to open the link once on hotel Wi-Fi before they set out, and to add it to their home screen so it opens like an app.
